Celebrate World Baking Day With Summer Snow’s Apple Dessert
Any day is perfect for baking an apple dessert, but especially on World Baking Day! Here is a family favourite recipe to make at home. Perfectly paired with one of our beautiful sparkling apple juices.
- 6 -8 apples, peeled and sliced
- 300g self raising flour
- 165g raw sugar
- 180g butter
- 500mL water
Place apples in a buttered baking dish. Blend the remaining ingredients together in a food processor and pour batter over the apples. Bake at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes or until cooked through. Serve with ice cream, cream or custard - yum!
